The Hong Kong Laboratory Animal Sciences Society (HKLASS) was founded in January 2020 to meet the increasing need for continuous professional development and education for laboratory animal scientists, technicians, husbandry personnel, and veterinarians in Hong Kong. The Society aims to promote the advancement of laboratory animal science, welfare, ethics, and veterinary care in Hong Kong; support education, training, communication, and collaboration among professionals in laboratory animal science and related fields in Hong Kong and Asia; and facilitate communication, organize meetings and seminars with similar societies regionally and globally.
